4 Deaths After Head-On Auto Collision In East Texas

On June 27, 2011, DPS officials say four people, including two 12-year old children, were killed in a head-on collision in East Texas. Sources say the children were riding with an adult inside a SUV headed north on U.S. 79 when the vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic. DPS says the SUV then struck a pickup which was carrying five people. Authorities say the driver of the SUV and one passenger in the pickup also died from their injuries.
