Bicyclist breaks pedestrian’s neck in collision

Our client was in Houston to help her daughter care for her first child, a six-month old boy. One day, our client put her grandson in a stroller and went on walk through a local park with her daughter. While they were on the footpath, a bicyclist came out of nowhere and slammed into our client.

Her injuries were severe. She fractured her neck and dislocated her right shoulder. Her neck injury needed immediate surgery and required installing a screw in her spine.
