We value education and encourage our youth to find fulfillment in life through a career that helps them reach their potential and make a positive contribution to the community.

We also understand the financial burdens and sacrifices that families often face when pursuing higher education. To help ease that burden, the Amaro Law Firm will award two scholarships of $2,500 each to the winners of our video or essay contest. These scholarships are intended to support your journey toward a brighter future.

To be considered for the Amaro Law Firm Scholarship, please follow the guidelines below.

Amaro Law Firm Scholarship Guidelines

Our annual scholarship is closed.

Applications will be accepted starting Spring 2026.

  • You must be currently enrolled and attending public high school in Fort Bend County ISD or Lamar Consolidated ISD as a senior and planning to attend a college or university full-time for the upcoming academic year.
  • You must be in good academic standing at your current institution.
  • For applicants under 18 years of age, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Should you choose to submit an essay it should be 3-5 pages, 12-point font, justified text, and in Times New Roman font.
  • Should you choose to submit a video in addition or as a substitute, it must be hosted on YouTube or Vimeo and no more than five minutes long. Privacy sharing settings are encouraged.
  • Subject to change.
