Commercial Vehicle Wreck

A commercial motor vehicle driver ran a red light on video. Our trial lawyers obtained a settlement at mediation for a client who was struck by an 18-wheeler driver who was speeding and ran a red light. Our client had severe neck injuries, which required fusion surgery. After denying their driver was at fault, the employer trucking company was required to provide dashcam video footage to our lawyers in discovery. The video clearly showed that the driver was speeding and made no effort to stop at the red light. Our trucking expert witness examined the driver’s employee file and found that the company did not meet industry safety standards. As a result, our trial lawyers settled the case at mediation.
