TWO WRECKS, ONE FATAL, ON I-45 NORTH IN HOUSTON – Reportedly, two wrecks on I-45 North in Houston on August 7, 2013 caused major traffic delays. According to sources, both were 18 wheeler accidents.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports that the first wreck happened early in the morning near FM 1960, when a white pickup slammed into the accident. Reports say the driver of the pickup truck died in the crash.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports that the second wreck happened a little later, when an 18 wheeler rolled over and caught fire near FM 830. Deputies say the truck hit the median and then turned over, but caused no injuries.
