Searching for Witnesses: Pedestrian Customer Hit and Killed in Houston Wal-Mart Parking Lot in May of 2019December 16, 2019
On May 18, 2019, an elderly woman was killed in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Supercenter located at 4412 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77022 (near Crosstimbers and Fulton).
As she was leaving from shopping at Wal-Mart, she was run over by a vehicle in the paved area behind the Wal-Mart where pedestrians walk to enter and exit the property. In this area, Wal-Mart did not have any sidewalks, crosswalks, or other designated pedestrian route. The MetroRail has a rail stop located behind the Wal-Mart and a city sidewalk provides access to the property and pedestrian routes end there at this entrance on this side of the Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart declined to produce the video to help us find witnesses of the incident. Thus, we are searching for witnesses without their help.
Upon information and belief, this is a high auto and pedestrian traffic area. Upon further information and belief, there are many witnesses of this incident. If you are a witness or have information about this incident, please contact us to share what you know about the incident. Our client’s mother tragically passed away from her injuries in the Wal-Mart parking lot and her family was not made aware of what happened for many days.
Her family has filed a lawsuit in Harris County, Texas. The family is requesting your help.
