Parties Settle for $750K Over Vidor Truck CollisionAugust 2, 2011
Sources say a driver who claimed that a collision with a tractor-trailerresulted in a back surgery agreed to a $750,000 settlement. In 2010, Randy Allen, then 54, collided with an IWS Gas & Supply of Texas truck on a feeder road in Vidor. Allen underwent a lumbar fusion at L4-5 less than two weeks after the crash. There were two months of physical therapy. He has not been able to return to work as a machinist. His past medical expenses were approximately $94,000.
